Colour Grading has become a key skill to cinematographers - it is the final step to image management and key to carrying the artistic vision through the whole process. I've spent years learning this process and have successfully coloured my own projects since the beginning of my career. As such - I am now also offering my services as a cinematographer - colourist.
Why both? Much of the artistic vision of the cinematographer can be lost in the colour stage. Having the ability to see artistic vision is a significant benefit of being a cinematographer first, and a colourist second. Even if I did not shoot your project - I will contact your DOP, and be sure to carry their vision through to a corrected and graded final project.
